The cutwork wall hangings shown through out this web site are "see through". The back ground that you see in the pictures is the wall! They are amazingly durable for their delicate appearance. There are many skill levels available. Choose an easy one to start with, then work up to an advance piece. Sarah's book "A Cut Above" is very helpful if you are unsure about the whole process. Or just have Sarah make it for you, and all you will have to do is drive a nail in the wall for it to hang on!
